SUMMARY:Christmas Pavlova Wreath
DESCRIPTION:Did you know that ballerinas smell like vanilla? Just like this dessert\, light and softly sweet\, named after the famous ballerina Anna Pavlova. It is pronounced – PavlOva\, emphasis is placed on the penultimate syllable. Usually in England it looks like a round cake\, but for Christmas it’s customary to bake it in the form of a wreath and decorate to your taste with everything that you love and that can create the desired contrast in taste: meringue and cream are sweet\, which means we need something with a slight acidity\, for example\, berries or citrus fruits. I spent Christmas in Odessa and held several master classes in Promenu chain stores. Clients of Promenu are people who like to cook with the help of beautiful\, high-quality and convenient cookware\, just like me. The Pavlova Christmas wreath was the theme of my lesson. It is ideal for demonstrating the capabilities of my favourite planetary mixer KitchenAid\, with which any difficult task becomes simple. And of course\, before the holidays we are looking for something to surprise our families and guests at the festive table. In addition to the classic version of the cake with fresh berries and mint\, we baked Pavlova with dates\, oranges\, caramel thread and sparkling vanilla powder\, combining the traditional ingredients of Christmas sweets and the sparkle of holiday lights. Sommelier Konstantin Vidoborenko gave individual recommendations on wine pairings for the festive table\, and for our dessert offered sparkling wine Brachetto d’Acqui Braida Giacomo Bologna\, which the winemaker himself calls the perfect pair for Pavlova. We talked a lot about the English Christmas traditions\, funny Christmas jumpers\, family rituals and\, of course\, about the New Year holidays menu. Christmas spirit\, recipes\, smiles and good mood – what else does a woman need to create a real holiday? Well\, perhaps beautiful tableware 😊 \nLesson recipes: \n\nChristmas berry Pavlova wreath\nChristmas oranges & dates Pavlova wreath\n\nPhotos from the lesson \n \n  \n \n  \n \n  \n \n  \n \n  \n \n  \n \n  \n \n  \n \n  \n \n  \n \n
