I’m starting this year with good news. Our book about Odesa – its people, culture, and cuisine – is finished.

This book is a tribute to Odesa’s people, food, and everyday culture.

• Contributions from 20 photographers from around the world
• A visual, narrative journey designed as a walk through the city This project has been nearly 10 years in the making, with 3 years of production after signing the publishing contract.

Why This Matters

In times of uncertainty, food remains a powerful cultural language. This book positions Odesa as a city of gastronomy, memory, and living heritage – and contributes to its long-term cultural and economic visibility.

A portion of the proceeds supports Bake for Ukraine; a volunteer initiative I’ve been part of for over four years.
